Nankin Bantam For Sale
Chicks hatching mid-February to September.
Nankins are said to be one of the oldest breeds. They are a true bantam, having no standard counterpart, and are one of the smallest breeds. They are a beautiful deep chestnut red-brown, with black tails. Hens should be a lighter red-buff color. Nankins should have slate legs. They have dark black tail feathers. Nankins have dark slate legs with a pink stripe down the sides. Unlike most breeds, Nankins can have a Rose Comb or Single Comb. Nankins are a very docile breed and when handled from a chick, they can become very friendly. The Nankin bantam is rated critical on the conservation status.
